FARWAGI is a Canadian company founded by Jean César Farwagi, a jeweler trained in the Jewelry and Costume Jewelry program at the South-West Montréal School and at the Institute of Gemology of Montréal. Jean César founded his fine jewelry company in 2023. The jewelry is manufactured and transformed by hand with precious and fine metals and stones that respect the quality standards of the environment. He has a team of highly experienced jewelry designers and jewelers on a large international scale.
Our history
Jean César Farwagi, born in Beirut the capital of Lebanon into a family of artists. César developed a passion for art from the age of 12. In 1992, he began his career as a gilding craftsman working with gold and silver leaf. From the age of 16, his dream was to leave his country of residence, Egypt, to settle in the West. In 2009, he made this dream a reality by settling permanently in Montréal (Canada). In 2018, he took a Gemmology course at the Institut de Gemmologie de Montréal, cultivating his love for this gem science and focusing on deeper training in this profession. In 2021, César decided to pursue training in Joaillerie-Bijouterie, and in 2023, he obtained his Diploma of Professional Studies in Joaillerie-Bijouterie. Currently, his aspiration is to introduce exceptional jewelry to the Quebec and the rest of Canada market.
